What does it really mean to be college- and career-ready? In addition to engaging with and mastering rigorous academic content, students also need to develop key social and emotional skills such as learning to cope with frustration, how to navigate conflicts, and how to demonstrate empathy. In this webinar, you’ll learn about Integrating Social, Emotional and Academic Development: An Action Guide for School Leadership Teams, a new resource to help educators rethink the educational experience (for both teachers and students) to make schools a safe, respectful, and empowering environment. The Action Guide details concrete steps school leaders can take to integrate principles of Social, Emotional and Academic Development (SEAD) into the daily work happening in their schools.
